In NYC at the City pub and remarkably calm for the stress we should have been feeling. I thought that was an excellent win — very strong defensively and LaPorte MOTM, strong on both ends. Good to see steel in the face of chaos. Hard earned three points at a bogey ground, well done boys, that has to be satisfying.

Have a good one man. Doing anything valentiney over there? Or just work and few taller buildings?

We are not playing great but we won. That said, Everton were much better than they have been of late though they didn't have a shot on target.
Fernandinho looks slightly off the pace to me, our defending is not what it should be and we just aren't as sharp as we have been.

I disagree one moment tonight Fernandinho charged through the center midfield like a man 10 years younger. He was awesome tonight

Job done. Walker scares me though and a few times you could see Stones bollocking him for having to sort out his mess.

It seems Walker always as ‘one significant’ mistake in him that takes away our momentum.

I thought a year under Pep may reduce his brain fart moments but it almost looks like he’s trying too hard if that makes any sense.

Anyway well done lads..well done indeed...a Champions performance even though I think most blues would agree was nervy as hell to watch...but that’s City for you.

Silence for half an hour, quick glance at the watch and I'm thinking, it's over now, feck it.

I remember when we were playing 90 percent possession football and already 3 up by 70 mins thinking as good as this is I miss the drama. Fuck me I wouldn't mind a bit of that back after tonight. Never looked like losing but at the same time those margins are too fine to think about at times.
