I think it’s a pretty fair comment to be honest? Yeah we spent a load of money but bought well with it? Think it’s praise from the fat one for a change!

Sounded like a little dig to me but maybe I'm just being paranoid. I suppose even a back handed compliment is more than we usually get so I guess I can't complain too much.

You're not being paranoid. He always brings up the money angle when referencing us. If he did it when talking about Utd, Chelsea et al,
then it wouldn't be a problem.
