Most of the team were playing for their countries so will be match sharp and we had warm weather training for a week before the internationals to prepare for this game.

Incredibly disrespectful to Everton; not that I could care less about them but no match being advertised on UK TV between two English sides should fail to feature both teams. Just more crass behaviour from a UK Sports broadcaster.

All intended to wind their fan base and players up to the max. There's nothing these biased twats won't do to make our job more difficult. Don't tell me that was an 'oversight'....

And at this stage of the season we will just play our normal game. Reprise the Stoke performance.

The only disadvantage of the international break is that not many of Everton's likely starting line up were away. So they will have had a nice break and plenty of time to work on their game plan. But if we turn up that shouldnt matter.

However most of the players have got some time in with their national sides & been training.

Sergio & Delphinio
haven't played a game for weeks & they may be rusty for a game or two.

Start quick,with intensity,take our early chances & manage the game out.

With Gueye their best defensive mid and ball winner possibly out, no reason why we can't go back to our free scoring ways. Hope we score 3/4 goals by half time and rest players for the CL.
