I'm sure there will be countless other threads debating his team-related decisions,but not doing the interview was the correct one. Platt dealt with it well bearing in mind the disappointment.

You can't get charged by the FA for calling yourself tactically inept and naive.

I can't see how anyone can be suprised by this today. It was absolutely nailed on, especially when Yaya Toure bottled out before the game. This fixture is an absolute god send for anyone wanting to make easy money from the bookies. 14/5 was an absolute steal.

I am not taking sides on this, but do you not think it is the manager's job to pick and motivated the players??? Bizarre that you should think a poor performance has nothing to do with the manager.

So the players are robots that run on compliments given by the manager.

The performance from some of those players was nothing short of dog shit, and i find it bizarre that people blame that on the person on the sidelines as opposed to the multi-fucking-millionaires that can't be fucked to put in a decent fucking shift.

Mate, I am not saying that. St Helen's was saying it had nothing to do with the manager and I am just pointing out that everyone is responsible.

The penalty doesnt matter, mancini doesnt have a clue in some games. Sunderland, Everton and Liverpool. Every we can expect the same thing and that isnt a win. Tactically he doesnt know what to do which also applys to europe.

Was thinking this whilst watching the game. Its simply not good enough that we bottle it at certain away fixtures.

lets be honest we havent lost the title today we lost it weeks ago. today was poor all round, tactics, commitment from players etc. we have to offload some of those who don't try and those who aren't good enough and bring in more quality. last close season showed just adding to the squad isn't enough we need to strengthen. as for Mancini his tactis have been open to question but his reign has hardly been our most unsuccessful period has it - we may also see more silverware by this seasons end. had the internet been around when baconface started at the swamp i am sure what we read on bluemoon would have been repeated on rag cafe but they stuck with him as should we with Mancini whi IS a successful manager. I think we need to cast our minds back five or ten years and see how far we have come and realise that we are priveliged to be moaning about the stuff we can nowadays rather than moaning about another season over by February except for the flirtation with relegation as used to be the norm
