Everton Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Same old story, thought we could just turn up and win it!
So slow in build ups it was unbelievable.

It is true when people say we are a weaker team than last year.

I've been saying this for months. Every single player (apart from Zabba) has been worse this year than last. We've never looked like champions from the very first game against Southampton.

What I thought said a lot today was after that penalty decision not one of our players protested. Now I don't want to see our team hounding a ref on masse like that lot do but at least show you care.

Re: Gutless from Mancini

I disagree. Probably saved himself an FA charge for saying something stupid in the heat of the moment.

I'm sure there will be countless other threads debating his team-related decisions, but not doing the interview was the correct one. Platt dealt with it well bearing in mind the disappointment.

Joe royle hits nail on the head, why after four clean sheets on the bounce do you you tinker with formation and defensive set up? That is entirely an appalling decision by Mancini!! Did I just hear moves say pieenarse should not have been sent off??? Fuking tosser!!

Re: Gutless from Mancini

The penalty doesnt matter, mancini doesnt have a clue in some games. Sunderland, Everton and Liverpool. Every we can expect the same thing and that isnt a win. Tactically he doesnt know what to do which also applys to europe.

Re: Considering the money we've spent..

What is so gutting is that we're going to need another big rebuild overhaul to compete next year. The new rules will stop us being a dominant force. Our poor additions to the squad have hurt us more than we realise. Today's performance has left me sick to the stomach about what could've been.

Groundhog day, like Sunderland away we might as well just not fucking turn up and give them three points, save everyone the bother!

I have not seen such a one paced team in the premier league than us,even the bottom sides move the ball quicker and attck with more speed and purpose. It worked for us playing as we do once....just...as we scraped the league last season, but we were quickly sussed out and we have not the tactics or players to change it!

Some players,we all know who they are, have to be replaced with better quality in the summer. The manager? He has had three years now and if he can't get the fact that the premier league is about pace and passion, then he has to be replaced.

Moyes can go and suck on his masters third nipple tonight for that performance.

Yes we absolutely dogshit, yes they scored a fair goal ruled offside and yes we deserved fuck all but how many times have all of us over the years have seen City batter teams and still get fuck all from the game. If the ref had the balls to make the CORRECT decision we'd have got a penalty and possibly got a draw from the game had we scored. Fucking outrageous decision and amidst all the shit that will be aimed at Mancini that decision was still fucking disgraceful.
It WAS an awful decision, but we deserved fuck all today.

I did say we deserved fuck all today but every decision shouldn't be wipeyd out or ignored. Discussing the tactics, team selection etc is one thing but if the referee had done his job correctly and not bottled it we could have come out of it with a draw, its happened to us countless times over the years where the opposition deserve fuck all but manage to get a result. Now Sky are trying to say Probert gave handball for Osman attempted block. Scandalous Probert bottled it and is probably using that has his get out of jail card. Never have I seen a penalty given for the ball skimming off somebodys hand with the merest hint of a touch.

Absolute bollocks. Today Everton had a goal disallowed unfairly and they should have had a penalty! And you still think it's a conspiracy against city.

totally agree mate. milner works hard with very little end product

Nasri, doesn't need words

Garcia, horrific signing, will contribute nothing to this league

Silva, something is seriously wrong with him, hes a shadow of his former self

Barry, looks like an old dog that should really be put down

Sinclair, probably isn't good enough, but fuck me at least give him a chance. when they went down to 10 today, he should have been straight on

Razak, not seen anything that convinces me he will be a top prem player

not good really

I agree. Extremely worrying and it's gonna cost a hell of a lot of money to fix it.
