Everton

'easy' games are those where the opponent is beaten easily. it has little to do with their league standing. fpr example, ATM, stoke would give anyone a game, even if that game was the opposite of pretty. Contrary to popular opinion I thought bolton were excellent, we did well to dispatch them, and I agree with their manager who said, if they play like that in every game, they will bring home a lot of points before the end of the season. Everton were superb as well, and to me there was little shame in losing that game, moyes had identified it as a psychological turning point for them.... on the other hand, wolves, portsmouth and to a certain extent, blackburn, were very poor when we played them. The one real disappointment for me was Hull. They played exceptionally well, I doubt they will top it this year... but we should have made life more difficult for them.

I can see Everton finishing 6th which with the massive injuries we have is an amazing finish our fully fit squad in my opinion though would have grabbed 4th. Good luck against the kopite scum later

Everton
Wins ....... Hull(h), Birmingham(a), Bolton(h), Wolves(a), West Ham(h), Blackburn(a), Fulham(h), Stoke(a), Portsmouth(h) = 27 points
Draws ...... Tottenham(h), Aston Villa(a), Man City(a) = 3 points
Defeats ....
38 + 27 + 3 = 68 points

My prediction for everton is 68 points, the maximum they can mathematically get is 74.

i think 4th place will be about 72 or 73 points this year.

I can't see them beating Birmingham away or Stoke and I very much doubt they will draw at BOTH Villa and City so you can drop 5 or 6 points off that total.

i hope we play with grit like they did yesterday, anyone who beats them gets my vote lol

Everton
Wins ....... Hull(h), Bolton(h), Wolves(a), West Ham(h), Blackburn(a), Fulham(h), Portsmouth(h) = 21 points
Draws ...... Tottenham(h), Birmingham(a), Stoke(a), Man City(a) = 4 points
Defeats .... Aston Villa(a)
38 + 21 + 4 = 63 points

Is that more like it DontLookBackInAnger?

Hold on a second, have I stumbled on to the wrong forum?

Wasn't it only a few weeks ago this board was full of people gloating that the blue scouse were in trouble, a relegation battle, no money to spend, a shit manager in charge, they'd lost their best player to us... they were in crisis?

At least it cheers me up that so many on here are not only fickle about their own club... but also about other clubs.
Lescott was not Evertons best player. And when Mr Moyes took you for £22 million he bought two central defenders and a midfielder, all of whom played yesterday!
