The spine will look very different soon-the old guard need replacing unfortunate as it is.Our strongest 11 over the last 5 or so years all fit and firing would have had a chance, but they're all at different stages in their careers and half of them are finished unfortunately .
Gonna take us at least 3yrs to get to anywhere near ruling europe, & will pep still be in charge by then? fuckin disgusted by our surrender tonight, peps got one hell ov a job on his hands
Im sure they will as well pal, but this aint no overnight fix we've gone backwards big time last 3yrs wiv that clown in charge, its fuckin disgracefullPeps effectively starting from scratch, not that i'm concerned about it yet but if things go well (which i'm sure they will) I can see him sticking around a bit longer.
Not with the way we have been playing. You're right we and a lot of the players are going to be looking back on this game for years to come thinking If only. They might say they gave it their all. I don't think we did. We worked hard closing down and we were well organised, but mentally we were afraid to take risks. Comes from the manager, and the players belief in their manager. Evidently what trust was there has evaporatedI am left with real empty feeling after tonight.Did Real deserve to win over the two legs, probably just but it was manner of the defeat the grates on me.The lack of fight and the fact we seemed resigned to our fate after VK went off is what disappoints me. I think our approach and our lack of desire reflects our manager over the last two seasons. We got close but when we really needed the manager to show his quality it wasn't there. This will hurt more over the next few weeks as we all realise how close we actually came to winning the CL.
Guys, with the right purchases this summer, we'll be right there with the best in Europe next year. Things are not as bad as we mAy think. Defenders are jelling well in Europe need to bring that level to the premier league.Gonna take us at least 3yrs to get to anywhere near ruling europe, & will pep still be in charge by then? fuckin disgusted by our surrender tonight, peps got one hell ov a job on his hands
He won introducing a creative style of play to a group of men that had been drilled to be organized and defensively sound for the past 3 years. Time showed that he couldn't keep that organization that Mancini instilled, and every season, we saw it kind of slip away.Im sure they will as well pal, but this aint no overnight fix we've gone backwards big time last 3yrs wiv that clown in charge, its fuckin disgracefull
