Ex City Youth Players

Shea Charles has been having a real nice season in the championship for Sheffield Wednesday. He's improved and looks physically strong. Good for him.

He’s been recalled by Southampton now. Not sure if he’s going back into their squad as I’ve also seen him linked with another loan move to Sheffield Utd.

one of the promoted teams could do worse than picking up Charles. Burnley could be a good fit as they have Egan Riley and Trafford already in situ.

Harwood Bellis and Delap will also want to stay in the prem.

Egan-Riley is out of contract, saw him linked with West Ham the other week. Obviously he could sign a new contract with Burnley, but I reckon he’s good enough for a mid table PL team already.

Cieran Slicker unfortunately had a nightmare Scotland debut yesterday, should have done better for all 3 Iceland goals, especially the third.

Yeah, he replaced Angus Gunn after just 7 minutes, he looked pretty horrible after conceding within the minute after coming on. I think that's at least 3 Scotland 1st choice goalies out injured now. Slicker hasn't even played a league game for Ipswich this season just gone, so he was always going to be targeted last night.

Edit: just seen that they lost their 2nd choice goalie in the warm up :(

He must be 4th choice at Ipswich as Muric isn’t even back up.

How the fuck do you become an International #1 while never having played a league game for any club?

Even Rochdale didn't play him 3 seasons back

EDIT
Scotland have called up free agent Ross Doohan and Bournemouth's 18-year-old Callan McKenna for Monday's friendly in Liechtenstein in an attempt to address their goalkeeping crisis.

Angus Gunn and Robby McCrorie have left the squad following Friday's defeat by Iceland.

Cieran Slicker suffered a torrid debut at Hampden after replacing the injured Gunn, McCrorie having picked up a strain in the warm-up.

This is exactly why you don’t have untried teenagers without a single game of mens football as your 2 and 3 keepers. Despite what some on here are advocating

I was watching the Wales match last night and when Matondo came on, the commentator said we had sold him for about £10m.
If so, that was some price we got for him

I wonder what the total fees received by City is since the Academy opened (a decade) versus the amount of fees by Academy players after their initial sales. I'd imagine it is larger than some European economies.
