Released on bail pending appeal.
If/when judge dismisses his appeal he will start serving rest of his sentence.
Hopefully judge will see it as waste of time and not reduce sentence.
should be still locked up on remand and not released

Breaking News...!!! Saunders reveals he only drinks excessively then drives his car because he missed 3 pens playing against Manchester City, a public enquiry will surely follow as Manchester City did nothing to compensate him or provide counselling.

Bet if he’d been black or from a council estate he’d have made the front page of the sun named with photos but as he’s from Hale. My very point mate, but being history changing dippers it will be 19 when they win it ....FIRST Premier League title.
Saunders is alright. Comes across as half sensible on Talk Sport and his kid plays for Curzon Ashton. Always has nice things to say about City. Just a bit unlucky by the sounds of it.

Wrong thread but Makki (the deceased) wasn't from Hale and he wasn't white. Further, it was very good coverage from a biased media that made him out to be an innocent. The trial showed otherwise. It was very sad what happened but he was not as innocent as the police made out.
