Yeah Simpson scored an equaliser from a free kick for Pompey against us at Maine Road.

And of course, Adebayor WILL score for Spurs against us this season, I don't think any of us doubt that.

noticed this on the end of an era dvd, before my time. why did we all sing it?

Most fans sang it - it just wasn't seen at the time for being a Scouse anthem, but the turn of the 80's, when sung, a counter chant of ''dirty Scouse song, dirty Scouse song, hello, hello'' would break out.

The Kippax often did the faster version.

with hope (clap clap)
in your hearts (clap clap)
and you'll ne (clap clap)
ver walk (clap clap) etc etc
