Txiki was pictured in saulo paulo airport tuesday night...Brazil media says its we are trying to muscle in on beating barcelona to neymar signature...

Go google punto pelotta ...scroll down and see them discuss txiki arrival..

Who do we think it could be...and by the way good to see him go all the way over there

i don't know waht to say..he can be there to discuss about paulinho but i think he is there to try to bring neymar to us...will be asewome

Ball Point caught the Manchester City live sports in Sao Paolo airport. Jose Antonio Luque exclusively revealed who traveled up there to talk about the crack of Santos.
The snapshot shown exclusively in Ball Point is Tuesday night . From Sao Paolo went to the city of Santos, where he drew two conclusions. The first is that Neymar will stay another year in Brazil and then go to Barca . And the second is that if you want, will make a huge effort to snatch the set culé.

The main thing is ....This is no scout,just someone gone there from city.....Its the main transfer dealing man....we want someone and bigtime..

Trouble is ..will it be jan or for the summer...
 
Good bit of news this, If as we hope Txiki was there to possibly enquire about neymar it goes with the next stage of developing the club.

One major transfer signing for an exceptional talent, that will produce enormous amounts of generated income for our club and evolve the squad to another level. Ala the Barca signing of ronaldinho when Soriano and Txiki were there.

Of course though we will be against THE top teams fighting for his signature.

Fingers are crossed on this one.
 
Would be over the moon with this. Plus, makes Chelsea play their cards too, if they want Neymar they probably can't justify Falcao too.

I'm positive that this has been an ongoing file for City for 2/3 years, Sao Paolo and the player asked us to keep our distance and we did, so hopefully that will work in our favour.

Though I'm also sure that he said he would not move from Brazil until after the 2014 WC?

Yes and he wont far more money for him to be made living in Brazil as the figurehead of the national team for the world cup in Brazil
He along with 2 or 3 other players are fantastic signings as not only are they the best in football they also lead to massive club endorsements and income revenues. The newly rich Brazilian people would pour money into Manchester City

Don't think any one of us is qualified to say he isn't any good or not. What I do know though is that Tim Vickery speaks very highly of him, but worries that a PL move would be the wrong one for him as he believes he would suit the Spanish game more.

The concept here is brand recognition. Hazards are great. But they don't bring in the cash the way a Neymar does. Is Neymar sponsored by Nike? This could be very important as we move forward. Imagine an attacking set of:

----------------Aguero----------------

Considering our financials I could imagine us dealing in our last major window. Especially with the Premier League tv cash coming in.

He plays for Santos not Sao Paulo mate...

But this kid is the real deal. Would be a huge coup if true.
 
It says in the article that he drew 2 conclusions: that he will stay in Santos for another year and then move to Barca.

Who is? Neymar, Vickery or both?
I won't pretend to know enough about Neymar to forge an opinion of whether he's good enough or just a myth, but seeing as Vickery resides in Brazil and follows the game over there like we follow the PL, i'll go off his opinion.
