Exercises to lose the belly

If u have an iPhone there's app I've been using called "Adrian James 6 pack abs" it gives you easy to hard exercises and challenges. Think it's 69p.

Excercising abs and pecs doesn't get rid of a belly.
Fat burning cardio is the only thing that will work so you need to either go swimming, cycling, or run your arse around the block 4 times a week. Just a minimum of 2 miles running will see results, as long as you're being reasonably careful about your calorie intake at the same time. Remember that weight loss has a very simple formula: Calories burned off > Calories taken in = weight decrease.
No amount of weights will get rid of flab.

At the same time, good old fashioned press ups and sit ups will tone your arms, chest and abdomen and promote core stability which will make you stand and sit better which in turn makes you look fitter. Go to the website "100 push ups dot com" and the sister site "200 sit ups dot com" to learn a simple system of getting more press ups and sit ups done.

I've lost a stone in 4 months just by running 2 miles 3 days a week and cutting down on beer and crap food. If I want a snack I have a grapefruit. You can still have a treat now and then and you can still have some beer once a week. It's just common sense really.

Apparently, running up and down your stairs is a fantastic fat-burning regiment. No cost, easy access... what's not to like. Not too sure about what targets you should set yourself each day but a quick google should give you an idea.

I've been way over doing the beer since Xmas and the jeans are getting a bit tight around the waist!
So thanks for the above info ^^ Mugato - will get back out on the bike and start jogging again.
Food has never been an issue with my weight.... just alcohol!

As with any cardio for weight loss, it's simply "the more the better" but for cardio fitness they say you should aim for at least 20 minutes at least 3 days a week. Going up and down your stairs is good excercise but there are probably safer ones! When you get knackered it's easy to stumble.

Leave the toilet roll in the kitchen - that'll add another up and down journey to your trip.

Well i need to start losing a few pounds too, bit to much beer intake since crimbo, so now it's warmer going to get the bike out tomorrow and start cycling to work again. Looking forward to it just hope it doesn't keep pissing down :0(.

Also started on the weights in the garage again but as someone has already said it's calorie intake, compaired to what you burn off, which is key so i've decided to cut out the beer for now, that'll be hard working behind the bar at weekend though.
