Exercises to lose the belly

Excercising abs and pecs doesn't get rid of a belly.
Fat burning cardio is the only thing that will work so you need to either go swimming, cycling, or run your arse around the block 4 times a week. Just a minimum of 2 miles running will see results, as long as you're being reasonably careful about your calorie intake at the same time. R
emember that weight loss has a very simple formula: Calories burned off > Calories taken in = weight decrease.
No amount of weights will get rid of flab.

At the same time, good old fashioned press ups and sit ups will tone your arms, chest and abdomen and promote core stability which will make you stand and sit better which in turn makes you look fitter. Go to the website "100 push ups dot com" and the sister site "200 sit ups dot com" to learn a simple system of getting more press ups and sit ups done.

I've lost a stone in 4 months just by running 2 miles 3 days a week and cutting down on beer and crap food. If I want a snack I have a grapefruit. You can still have a treat now and then and you can still have some beer once a week. It's just common sense really.

Frame that, I see all these people in the gym doing situps and ab crunches when they still have layers of flab. It does nothing as even if the muscle builds under the fat how does it show?.

Cardio, cardio and more cardio. Running, riding, cross trainer, jogging, stair work, suicide drills. Anything that makes your heart beat rise and makes you sweat for at least 20 minutes a day. Couple this with a reduction in fat foods or carb rich white breads, rice, beer and you will see results within four weeks. Dont worry about reading the miracle discovery on how to get abs in 20 mins by such and such liposuctioned model. Its false you have to work and that is the only way.

I will never have a Mens Health front cover body because even when i nail my diet i cannot cut out the beer
I have made my peace with that though. The best i look is during the week im on call out as i cant drink

You just dont want to train you know if you did the cardio you could have any body you want. You dont have to stop completely.

Apparently, running up and down your stairs is a fantastic fat-burning regiment. No cost, easy access... what's not to like. Not too sure about what targets you should set yourself each day but a quick google should give you an idea.

I only run upstairs when I am dying for a crap !!

Leave the toilet roll in the kitchen - that'll add another up and down journey to your trip.

Then put the paper in the front room so you've got to run down again. Can't have a dump with nothing to read.

No pain no gain.

On the tv show Horizon tonight at 9pm, BBC2 they say that we can all get away with just 3 mins per week of high intensity exercise. Yes I did say per week.

Misinformation you need to train much more than that.
