Expectations - 2021/22

Could go either way .
Depends on the quality of players coming in & going out.
& the trust between the players & management .
Regardless of us just having a good season ,their may be mental scars from the no show of management & team in champs league final.
It will not be a given for us just to turn up next season & steamroll teams without togetherness, determination ,mental toughness & peak fitness .

Climbing the mountain of the premier league again after a team has won it is a difficult task. The disappointment of losing that final I hope will put some fire in the bellies of the players and have them motivated to turn it over a notch from last season. Liverpool and Chelsea will be better and the rags are like the turd that won’t flush, add to that the Euros will mess up pre season it’s going to be another difficult slog.

In all seriousness, a repeat of last season will delight me, back to back titles twice in 5 years is a special achievement and an unprecedented 5th carabao in a row essentially renames that cup in our honour. Those 2 are top of my wishlist anything else is a bonus.
 
Target every season fir me is to win the League, anything else a bonus.

Going to be a real test next year with the emergence of Chelsea and I would expect Liverpool to be more consistent.
 
I’d like to see us win the CL after this seasons near miss.

We really should be winning the league or be very close as the gap was huge. I think Liverpool will be the challenge again next season though. Can’t see Chelsea sustaining a run the way they play and think United will be below both of the above.

Agreed. Liverpool will be the main challenge in my view.
 
It will be a tougher season than 20-21 I suspect. Especially if we see a few changes in personnel on the pitch.

Liverpool and Chelsea should be much better next season, and I fully expect Leicester and the increasingly debt-ridden rags to be there or thereabouts.

I can't see any of the other London clubs doing much in the league.

We may see another 'transitional ' season.

Six points off the rags, PL top 3, Carabao cup, and a decent run in the CL would be OK in my book.
 
Just want to go back and we play shit hot with a bit more attacking flair and pace. Looking forward to seeing 2/3 new players.

A title challenge is a minimum requirement and is expected every season so that’s a given so another rollercoaster ride for everyone and I cannot wait.
However, after the failure of not landing the Champions League last season. For me this has to be a requirement this season. I want this trophy.
