BS, this is not a tansistion season at all. most of our players are in their prime with new contracts nad the experience to win together. What we continue to do to fuck up our chances is te arrogance in the transfer market, if we just increased our bid with a couple of millions we would have both cavani and Isco, but we refused and now Chelsea have strengthen, and we are the laughing stock for missing out on our primary targets.

We have strengthened you muppet. What the fuck are Fernandinho and Navas?

And how, prey tell, are we a fucking laughing stock?
Yes we have, like ALL teams do ALL seasons. to say we are in a transistion is to bend the truth until breaking point. the core of our team is still here

That'd be the core that won nothing last year then?

We will buy 3 more players at least. Everyone should chil out. I think we will win the league quite convincingly.

I can't shake off the feeling that this will be a transition season for us. New manager with no PL experience and a few new players the same...my worry is that if we do go trophy-less, and I think it's possible, the media could try and rip Pellegrini a new one and it may have a damaging effect.
I am not convinced he was the best replacement for Mancini. For all the 'nice guy, plays good football' spin, the reality is he is not a winner...yet.
I hope I am wrong and he and the new players bed in quick and storm to the title but like I said in the opening sentence, I have a feeling it won't be our year.

Laughable isn`t it.

Champions for me,playing beautiful football.

Rejuvenation. Improvement in morale and performance of some of our players and hopefully and instilled killer instinct in games. But most importantly, I am looking for us to win the league and with a new style and approach, it is possible, we have the best team in the league after all!

we should aim high , 40 pts will guarantee safety , then we can kick-on and get a nice mid table finish , maybe a decent cup run , and hope to keep hold of our better players at the end of the season , those were the days.

Talking to a Coventry fan today and he was just hoping to have a club to start the season with

yeh, the core that also won the FA Cup and PL title. I can't believe what I just read.

Agree with everything the OP. Personally I'll be happy with a top 3 finish and qualifying from champs league group. Its clearly going to be much tougher domestically next year with Chelsea slight favourites. Most of the top 6 will be taking points off one another its the one that consistently gets all 3 points against the mid and lower teams that will most likely win it. Can't help think last season was our best chance to add silverware. Summer purchases really screwed us. Oh well lets hope we see a new style of football that will be attacking and ruthless against the likes of Sunderland and Everton away.
