Explosion at MEN Arena/Victoria Station

Like the above I'd never heard of her. My teenage daughter had asked (my wife) if she could get tickets for the concert months ago. She didn't get them fortunately.
But this singer must be haunted by that night. I think coming back to Manchester will help her exorcise her own demons to and will play a big part in her recovery.
She may not have physical scars but knowing people died at her concert must be so hard to comprehend.

Think Manchester needs to make her feel special because what ever happens in her life/career her name will be synonymous with the events on May 22.

Agree with this. She has proved herself to be an absolute diamond getting this concert back on so soon after the terrible events at the Arena. Clearly, it isn't all about her and it's obvious she cares deeply for her fans. Fantastic young woman.

I hope she does not feel personally guilty for long, it is an unfair burden to ask anyone to carry, especially a 23yo girl in her prime enjoying life.

Big kudos for going to visit the injured to, i got some man grit in my eye seeing that kid smiling hugging her. So young and small she could not even get her arms around the slender and small Ms Grande, poor kid.

The thing is even the sniffer dogs wouldn't have prevented mondays bomb, these people don't need to get into the stadium, last night I worked the Robbie concert, security was very tight, yet after on leaving thousands were quieting for the metrolink or making their way to their cars, all a bomber has to do is wait and get them further out, in fact like the vehicle use, I think this will be SOP for terrorists now.

Not necessarily, the Israelis have teams trained for just this sort of situation.

Called into Town today, visited both Victoria stn and St Annes square - the tributes, while hugely moving and upsetting, have poured in from every section of society, and from all over the world, they are absolutely fantastic - we will not be beaten by these vile creatures.

@Blue Maverick Probably wouldn't have... All i'm saying a set perimeter around a venue with sniffer dogs working it would give me more a piece of mind...
A dog would give you more of a warning once it picks up the scent of a bomb giving you a chance to take action. I just think we should use more of them they're much more of a deterrent than armed policeman IMO...

Off tangent a little, those that said you could not go in, are they the same as said they would sack you all a few months ago?

Bloke confronts foreign men for stealing from Manchester memorial.

I didn't mention when I first went to St. Ann's square, the first thing I saw when I looked down was the attacker's picture. Some thicko parents had let their kid write on a piece of paper with other stuff "I saw it was a suiside bomber" and a glued cutout of his face on it. Know it's a kid but made me so angry I had to walk away.

Saw the video for this Wednesday evening. I fully believe the man in the video would have "best the shit" out of both of them "if the police don't come.".

Shows you what miserable, motherfuckers with no concern for anyone but themselves we have in this world. Stealing from a memorial for dead people, no strike that, murdered people. Gives me sympathy for the idea of cutting off thieves hands.

Yep. And Jason Manford tweeted his support for her after that statement she put out, only for him to get trolled on Twitter - so much so that he closed his account. Ariana herself was trolled by some nut jobs who have long had a beef with some of her liberal values and it just has me shaking my head in disbelief at why these people engage in such despicable behaviour.
I think a lot of the trolling is down too that nice man Piers Morgan,
after the queen visited the kids in hospital he tweeted something along the lines of,
if the queen can visit so can Ariana Grande,
not realising that Ariana Grande was a victim herself.

The bloke is a first class cock.
