I didn`t go to Peterborough, but I went to Wrexham in the 2nd Round of the FA Cup mate afew years prior to that when Mike Mackenzie was in charge.
Yes 4000 was the norm in the 1950/60`s and I remember travelling to Macclesfield when we took 35 coaches. Honestly.

Enjoyed those days, but I was much younger with far fewer responsibilities.
Went to every round including both Finals
