I agree, best performance I've seen from him (he usually is rubbish in the big games but I thought he held the ball up well and caused them some troubles).

Still lacks that killer instinct, that sadly the rags have in abundance.

The only stage which he hasn't performed in is in the CL against English teams. Otherwise he's performed against all other kinds of top opposition both in Serie A and with his NT.

That's untrue though. He scored 5-6 goals in the CL last year (some of them very pretty), and I've seen him have some great games against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for Juventus a few years ago. I guess those are big sides.

Ibrahimovic has scored against English opposition by the way, scored the only goal in a friendly between Sweden and England before Euro 2004. PL is probably the best league, but England still hasn't beaten Sweden since 1968...

In fact England never performs on international level. Sure, the players do well in their league but they never show up in the big internationals.

Hehe, sorry for winding you up, but you do see what I'm saying in comparison to Ibrahimovic, right? The premiership is probably the best league, but that doesn't mean every player in the other leagues are shit. Yes all the English teams are still in the CL, but it's not like they outclassed the other teams at all over two games (except the scousers).

Just don't know why everyone's gotta have a go at Ibrahimovic, it's not like he himself is declaring to be the greatest thing in football anyway.
