F!!**?* Magpies

A pair of magpies have started building a nest in a Conifer Tree right near our flats bedroom window, they have been at it for about a week and the noise they are making is horrendous.
What can i do, if it was a normal tree i would climb up and wreck the nest but you cant climb a Conifer its impossible and this nest is about 50ft up anyway.
I cant put up with this racket all Summer, they are going to be squarking away at 4am as the mornings get lighter, trust it to be Magpies the noisiest birds you can get !

There's one that lives in the tree outside our bedroom too, 3 floors up. It drives me, and the cat, mental. The noise they make is horrific, I reckon a rifle is your best bet.

Its illegal to shoot Magpies in Britain but not in Ireland otherwise i would

I had crows in the trees near our bedroom window.
drove me fcukin mad as soon as it got light.
Last year i got my neighbours shotgun and kept blasting the nests
as they were building them. They got the message and fcuked off.

I would believe me but like i said before its illegal to shoot a Magpie, i could just see me hanging out of the flat window blasting away and some nosey fucker in these flats reporting me thats what they are like around here

It may well be illegal and if you *cough* get caught *cough* doing it, you'd be in trouble.
