I am not a royalist. But millions are. And the Jubilee is an event they want to celebrate. So let them. Doing you no harm and doing the country good by way of the mood and the economy.

All you anti royals can fuck off, you should be proud of our royal family. I take it you are all going in work on Tuesday and not taking your extra day off. Earlier post about benefits etc what the hell does that have to do with the royals ?

No day of for me because i have to work like most people. I will be in work tomorrow morning.
If you want to pay me for that days loss of earnings and those of the lads who work for me i will be happy to stay at home and wave a flag.

@ SHB The Sheikh is an active businessman who gets stuff done our royal family who have a very very different way of life.

The Sheikh's family is closer to a business/government if you then look how ours is run. They have board meetings and actually deal with the ruling of the state.
Our royal family is a figurehead.

Nothing like making your point very clear .i was going to start a thread about the Jubilee but you beat me to it .The Millions of people taking part & watching & holding street parties are the same people who are having benifits stopped .pension changes. not geting a pay rise .being made redundant .living in poor housing conditions .seeing council services cut ect .but they will suport this money making maffia. the mind boggles

Take it you had no problem with her when she was your Commander in Chief when you were in the "Royal" Navy?
