He had a face that looked like he was chewing a wasp when Perez was celebrating, totally and utterly out of order, but he knew exactly what he was doing.

Read it mate. It’s what you wanna read imho. Wolff came out after there’s hardly any domination from RB yet. And that is typical from German managers in sports in the past. He said the words and later clarify it. Now look at Klopp at Liverpool. Mention City and money when he thinks it suits him. Not the sportmenship Germans like to represent.

How on earth have you read his comments and come to that conclusion?! He literally says Red Bull deserve it and the sport is a meritocracy.

So then why are we all talking about it? Why have there been Hamilton/Mercedes fans lamenting at Red Bull's 'dominance' as being a bad indicator for the future of the sport?

It’s always going to happen and the answer is always the same - it’s up to the others to develop their cars better and it’s completely integral to the sport as a whole.

I don't mean just on bluemoon, the whole F1 community on media has had the same comments being raised.

But basically, you agree, there is no 'crisis' in F1 just because Red Bull are on top atm.

No, I was just disagreeing with your initial point about it becoming more of a talking point, it happens every time someone becomes dominant :)

Car development is an integral part of the sport and it is a meritocracy. If one team builds a car that’s head and shoulders above the rest, then good for them, they should be applauded and deserve all the success they get. It’s entirely on the other teams to catch up and do better themselves (which is exactly what Wolff said too).

Mercedes have said their new car updates will close the Gap on Red bull, but it needs more time, WHAT !
From what I can make out from the last season's car was the last 3 or 4 races Mercedes was flying and pushing Red bull, Ok red bull had already won both driver and constructors championships so the results could have been a false dawn,

So Mercedes has gone backward and Redbull with reduced pre-season testing down to cheating and overspending are even quicker this season than Mercedes,

Mercedes has fucked up big time and Lewis will walk before the end of the season

He’ll see the season out and then either retire or, despite Horner saying he can’t see how they could fit him in, move to Red Bull.

Perhaps people saying that domination in Formula One is normal don't realise just how bad it's been in the last 10 years.
