I wouldn't engage. Anyone who thinks that Abu Dhabi showdown between Max and Lewis had the correct outcome is deluded. Hamilton was robbed plain and simple. Whatever happened in other races and seasons is irrelevant. The officials stepped in and hijacked the race from what should have been the outcome.

Whatever happens this weekend I hope it's done without the same controversy. McLaren have to grow a pair and ensure they prioritise winning the title at all costs. They should have had it wrapped up by now. They should have pitted Piastri and double stacked Lando, or pitted Piastri and kept Lando out. At least one of their drivers needed to cover Verstappen.

This weekend they need to make sure they don't make the same mistake. If they drive well and qualify at the front of the grid as they should, and keep P1 and P2 off the start all should be fine. But I expect there to be some influence from RB if needed and they need to be conscious of that as well.

He is being instructed how to break, when to break, how to turn, Hamilton was taunting him for laps in Saudi with the Drs until his engineer decided to speak up and tell him what to do so as Lewis doesn't get the place back once more.

Team clearly supports him and have given him points gifts on Oscar's expense. Now they use different suspensions and it's clear that only one gets the data, upgrades etc etc.

His first win was gifted by Safety Car and Max not caring. He has the fastest car and Oscar was the leader for Months, they even forced Oscar not to overtake in his home country. It's ridiculous.

We ve had many "mid" champions but he is straight up .....bad. and also his attitude?
Jesus mother Christ... Arrogant and entitled. Instead of saying congratulations to others he calls them lucky, having the fastest car etc etc.
His behavior has changed a lot and then after his first win he has become insufferable.

I know an ex Williams engineer who literally did drive Damon Hills championship winning car from the pits every race .

Of course they are, they would be daft not to.

The stick Zak and Andrea have got is mental.

They’re back to back constructors champions, on the verge of winning a drivers championship, and have two drivers who are free to race against each other and there haven’t been any meaningful blow ups between them all season.

Zak, Andrea, Lando and Oscar are gentleman racers going about things the right way.

Give me that any day over the kind of poisonous shithousery of Red Bull or Schumacher era Ferrari.

Zak and Andrea have transformed this team and I am so proud of them.

I’m very biased though, I love McLaren as much as City.

He's right. And every team would probably agree.
The problem is that he, until two weeks ago, talked about how he would rather lose to Max than give team orders. Now he's acting like giving team orders is the only logical thing to do.
His earlier statements were absolutely laughable, but he's the one who put them out there and started this nonsense discussion in the first place.
What Zak means is if they can help Norris win they will, but if they can help Piastri win, they won't.
 
It’s a done deal. Zak - interviewed today - said ‘that’ conversation has taken place, and his drivers will do what is required, to secure the WDC for McLaren. In other words, Oscar WILL let Lando through if ‘that’ scenario arises.

If that happens, it will leave an unpleasant taste and set a poor example to the sporting world. In a Max fan and obviously want him to win. If Oscar moves over in the last few laps, it will a sad end to the current era.
