The whole "Karen Horner" thing does puzzle me, I have to admit. To those that use that dig, I'll ask one question; do you honestly think Toto Wolff, or Zak Brown, or Fred Vasseur, or Andrea Stella would be any different if they were in Horner's shoes? Of course not; they're all ruthless men (they have to be, given their positions), and I have no doubt that they'd all do whatever it takes, however iffy, to gain an advantage in a highly competitive sport. And Wolff hasn't been shy about channeling his inner Karen from time to time. But, I guess Red Bull, Horner and Verstappen have been public enemies numbers 1, 2 and 3 on here since the 2021 season.

And in answer to the obvious question; no, I don't particularly have a horse in the race. Though I think it'd be good for the sport to see a "new" face clinch the title. Norris, Piastri, Russell or LeClerc (though those last two are a long way behind) would be, for me, a welcome champion.

I think a lot of it is due to how smug he acts on the Netflix Drive to Survive program! He really is unlikable on that with his arrogance and self importance! bit like United fans were under Ferguson!

F1 has been littered with smug/aloof/arrogant individuals down the years. He's just the most recent in a long line.
