I must admit, this is great entertainment with the front two. There's more overtakes with the new regs but drivers are being reovertaken when other drivers have their batteries on full charge, seems a bit artificial. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport but battery management seems to be another technical distraction and limits what drivers can do.

This is a good contest though.

I don’t like the battery shit at all. But IMO they’ve balanced it out now to reduce the yo-yo artificial overtaking.

My interpretation of it now is it’s pretty much where we were with DRS which is IMO about right.

This wheel to wheel action with the Mercs is real racing.
