Didn't that help Hill win the title?I remember MS storming down the pit lane to confront him afterwards. The visibility was virtually zero and IIRC DC had all but stopped on the racing line when they collided.

I knew it wouldn't be Hill as he drove for Williams whereas DC drove for McLaren, but thanks to @PannickAtTheDisco for completing the knowledge.Didn't that help Hill win the title?

yhp, Schumacher was 30 seconds clear in the race and would have gone 3 points clear in the title race, and ended up 7 behind. With his win in the following race he would have had a 10 point lead with 2 races left in a season where 10 points were given to the winner so it completely changed the season.I knew it wouldn't be Hill as he drove for Williams whereas DC drove for McLaren, but thanks to @PannickAtTheDisco for completing the knowledge.
Maybe mixed up with the fact that Hill ended up winning the race oddly enough.

Max had 2 runs on medium and got within a tenth on Lewis. Lewis followed up going a second quicker. Blows traded.

Old engines in obviously on Friday. Lewis only quicker by a tenth on softs and Red Bull way off the pace in the evening. Track 10 degrees cooler may also be playing a factor.
