F5 Skybox, where can I get one?

Loads of decent boxes about mate, i've got a Vu Ultimo, 3 tuner jobby so have motorised dish, normal sky dish at 28.2 with two feeds so it acts like sky+

A Vu Duo is good enough with a twin tuner so just like Sky+ or if you ant bothered about recording and watching seperate things a Vu Uno is a really good single tuner box, all with hard drive compatability and much more.

That's right you can put xbmc on a PC or laptop I have even got it on my phone.if you want to try it Google xbmchub and there are guides on how to do it.as for the skybox they play live Chanel's as they are on whereas xbmc is more on demand apart from football.

With the f5 box do you get 3 o'clock kick offs as well as all the normal uk sky channels?

With the standard set-up you only get the Setanta Ireland 3.00pm kick-off - you need a motorised dish & probably a more powerful box to get the Sky Italia & other foreign channels.

these boxs only use the internet to decode the signal, so you are not streaming all that data.

loads of difference but as far as quality goes thats the most important.

-- Mon Jan 06, 2014 10:42 am --

not the case mate the box has nothing to do with what channals you get. thats down to dish set up and server provider

I thought the Sky UK dishes were pointed at a specific satellite & the Arab/Italian/East European channels were on a different satellite hence the need for a motorised dish and a more powerful box to power the motor on the dish?
