Mate, we played triangles in our own half for the best part of 90 mins. People go on about this being the best squad we’ve ever had and all this talent at his disposal but for me apart from stones we have no decent centre backs. Connor coady and Ben white.
Pickford is average. Ramsdale is ok as is pope but not world class.
Kane. Than who else. Calvert-lewin and Callum Wilson. Distinctly average.
Rice is decent but I’ve changed my perception a bit. Hid too much and lacked the minerals to take the ball and dictate play. Henderson is Henderson.
Phillips is obviously very good but has been injured most of the season.
Walker is immense. Trippier is decent but limited. Alexander Arnold. Well enough said.
Grealish/Maddison very good players but we’re kept back.
Mason Mount is not good enough. Sterling has dropped off a cliff.
Bellingham is obviously a talent but not the saviour of English football people are clambering to see.
Foden is the only genuine world class footballer in that squad.

But we didn’t outplay them? They err happy to let us keep the ball in our own half and go sideways and backwards. First 15 minutes of second half we looked liked we’d finally woken up and did look decent but then went back into our shells. That game was winnable but have no courage or bravery to pick a forward pass will eventually catch up.I thought we out played France tonight for large parts of the game, they made very little chances but took the ones they had that's just football.
