We gave it everything
We were the better side
No one expected us to play like that
But … we lost. That’s football

Not really 'in vogue' but there you go.
Describe the shots?
Stat padding can be really shit shots from outside the area that go nowhere near.
Only 1 chance sticks in my memory & it was a good save by Lloris.
I can remember France missing better chances & Pickford making a good save.
Kane turn in the area, one on one with Lloris, tight angle, great save. Excellent save
Kane long range shot, good save from Lloris Meh
Bellingham powerful hit outside area, top save from Lloris pushing it over bar Missing
Foden corner, whipped in well, Lloris scrambles and misses, Maguire headed back that very nearly falls for rice to put into empty net. But Lloris fortunate it landed back to him on the floor. Meh
Free kick whipped in, Maguire unmarked, good header that clips the post Good chance
Kane shot that ballooned over the crossbar from the penalty spot FFS ;)
Rashford free kick right at the end, hitting the roof of the net. Very close. Meh Meh
There was some more half chances, same for France aswell but slightly more than the 1 chance you mention wouldn’t you agree?
Very fine margins in football, had any of them gone our way we’d of likely booked are place in another semi final. It wasn’t to be so instead we overanalyse, debate and constantly looks at reasons of ‘what went wrong’
Has he fook, he's hanging on to £5,000,000 a year Jolly.Has he gone yet?

You’ve included the half chances & not that many great saves from Lloris that you’ve talked about for a week.
We could have snatched it, always possible but as I’ve said numerous times the team was made of players with different styles. Maybe as a coach he felt the pressure to compromise what he wanted. I think he’s a different coach to the Southgate who first took over. He was fearless when he first came on the scene.
