Though we finished up at Wembley anyway!Certainly beats the cup run of 98/99 when we played Halifax in the first round, Darlington x 2 in the second and got beat by Wimbledon in the 3rd!

So, apart from four of the cups, we've won since Pep arrived, you don't think we've shown we're good in cup competitions?...We are bad in cup competitions, according to us we have the best manager in the world, 1 fa Cup no champions league,.1 final we lost to Chelsea, so tell me apart from league Cup, when have we shown how good we are in cup competitions
Not going to lie, it's a frustrating draw to say the least.
I want City to win any competition they participate in, and so far this season, the draws have been completely unkind domestically. Chelsea gave a us a good game in the League Cup, Ortega was sensational. It all comes down to who starts and how we rotate as the league fixture between the sides earlier in the week is the more important at Stamford Bridge.
Could have done with a gimme, but, we get on with it. No point in claiming it's a dodgy draw... that's for teams wearing red and a losers mentality.
We.have won the league Cup, yes its a cup but not as glamorous as the F.A. Cup, we have underperformed in the FA Cup and Champions League under Pep, no irony just how I see itSo, apart from four of the cups, we've won since Pep arrived, you don't think we've shown we're good in cup competitions?...
Do you not see a little bit of irony in your own post?
With the league game being Thursday night, can see this only being a late Sunday kick off or the Monday evening game.I hope this game is competitively priced and at a reasonable time. I will be bringing over our seven year old Grandson and a long drive home on a late Sunday KO the day before a school day will be out of the question.
Of course the raggies at home as well will mean they will get first choice because they will also be on TV.
Ours is the tie of the round so we will get the primetime slot which I think is probably 4pm Sunday.I hope this game is competitively priced and at a reasonable time.
