FA Cup - 3rd Round Draw - Exeter H - (KO TBC)

Any 3pm Saturday ties won’t be on tnt at all, streaming or a channel. Outside that kick off time, all ties on tnt except 2 allocated to bbc.
Past evidence is 2/3 of games in 3rd round KO outside 3pm Sat so that’s a lot of games being shown live.
According to BBC - 8 games are on tv - most on bbc and TNT/Discovery plus

Didn’t realise the History channel had got rights to any of the FA cup games.
1983 Final re-run being selected must be purely on that game a mere 42 years ago….

But then all the others being streamed be tnt as well, as long as they aren’t 3pm Sat.
That’s what I’d read in advance anyway.
There’s “on tv” and “on streaming/online”now. The distinction is getting a bit blurred nowadays. Though those 8 games will get more broadcast money.
Of those 8 I’m assuming bbc get 2.

Edit - just seen all the others are 3pm Sat so it seems my point was a bit irrelevant anyway!!

Just because we haven't been chosen for TV in the UK, doesn't mean we'll be on Saturday at 3pm. It could be but the 3rd and 4th round games get spread over the weekend due to the overseas tv rights which is worth quite a lot to the FA so you only get a handful at 3pm Saturday.

Either Sat 5:30 or Sunday 2pm is my guess

No chance of Sunday as rags are at home.

Ah ok, that explains it. I did get confused when bbc footy website has all the other games apart from these 8 kicking off at 3pm Sat.
So when are all the other KO times announced??

Exeter are in a terrible financial position, they should be on TV as it could save them from going under. United and Brighton do not need the money.
I think it would be a fantastic gesture for City to donate all gate receipts to Exeter.

PL teams in all games, no wonder grassroots football is such a mess. How about showing PNE v Wigan, Stoke v Coventry, Port Vale v Fleetwood or Cambridge v Birmingham. Who the fuck wants to see Spurs v Villa, Rags v Brighton etc. Predictable picks from TV although Newcastle v Bournemouth or Everton v Sunderland would be a better bet than the rags in terms of quality

When they played at the rags a couple of years ago....it seems like a couple of years ago when it went to a replay .....they were on.

Makes you wonder about the wonder of the FAC. ;(
