I've seen the FA cup on display at the RE Officers Mess, Brompton Barracks, Chatham, Kent.I always wondered which league The Royal Engineers, The Wanderers and Clapham Rovers played in.
I trust it was a replica of the original FA Cup as the actual trophy has changed a couple of times since they won it all those years ago.I've seen the FA cup on display at the RE Officers Mess, Brompton Barracks, Chatham, Kent.

One of the original one's was stolen whilst on display in a Birmingham boot makers shop window ( Villa were the holders at the time), so was replaced by the FA in the early 20th century, and that is still the current design I believe.Isn't the original one our good Sheikh bought and resides in the national Football Museum?

Can walk to Bloomfield Rd or tram to Fleetwood so I'm with you on this one.City to play either Fleetwood Town or Blackpool away as I can get to either ground on the tram in about 10 minutes from where I now live .
And I don't mean the not fit for purpose Metro, I'm talking about the Fleetwood to Starrgate version.

Looks like Blackpool have avoided a potential banana skin against Mark Hughes's Carlisle. 3 up before half time.
