FA Cup - 3rd Round Draw - Exeter H - (KO TBC)

The West country is a hive of Rag glory hunters, always has been.
Yep and loads of the weirdos will still turn up
It’s bizarre. I can hear opposition goals going in at their leaky shithole from my back garden, yet I wouldn’t even consider going g there even for free
And they used to claim we were obsessed!

That salford tie was when they jumped the shark.

Apparently people who have actually gone to watch salford over the years were glad and relieved when the coked up raggy rats, cosplaying MIBs in their Clone Thailand Harpurhey Market black coats, all fucked off at 5-0

The west country is full of wurzel rags. Similar to small town dives like Watford, Huddersfield, Barnsley etc back in the day, there will be quite a few plastic Top Reds in their number and at least one will wave a rag shirt or scarf
It’s the epitome of the tinpot EFL day out.
They’ll sell out their end, probably 90% of their home capacity, then the full small time EFL songbook”
Football in a library”, “massive everywhere we go”, “Where were you?”etc

They will then bring about 120 to their next away game, like Salford
I usually get to about half a dozen ECFC games a season. Much as I’d like to correct you, I fear I can’t. “Football in a library”, which has to be one of the most tiresome small time chants ever invented, gets repeated airings at every game as does its dullard twin “Shall we sing a song for you?”, and, it being City, I fear we will also be subject to the usual irony free “WWYWYWS?” at various intervals.
Oh, and there’s a drum!
Exeter’s best song by a mile is “Sing a song for Stanno” (the sadly deceased Adam Stansfield) and the away support has always been very good numerically. Between 600 and 1000 for most London and South Coast games with a 15:00hrs kick off, 400 and 600 for the Midlands and 200 and 400 for the North

What's the population of Exeter expect most will be heading up the M5 in the new year.

What is clear is that a very high proportion of United fans are thick bellends who can't fight sleep. It will never change.

The West country is a hive of Rag glory hunters, always has been.
I've lived in the SW now for a number of years and, while rugby is the first sport, those who do follow football are mostly United fans.
When I used to watch derby matches in a local pub, I would often be the only City supporter, surrounded by the other lot. I watched the 6-1 there, but was unable to celebrate much, they were an angry mob.
Even my barber is a rag fan. While cutting my hair he was rambling on about the 115. I told him I was pleased to know someone who knew all about the charge and would really like him to explain it to me. He never did.

Football in a library is a pathetic chanting. At the Huddersfield home tie the other year, I just thought, 'Well, yeah, we are playing a crap team, and?'

Cant complain a home draw against lower opponents. Not a draw to get you excited but should get us in the next round. Even pep craziness cant throw this one away. Expecting kids for a quid and adults a tenner.

Just had a look and the new tv deal from this season has every tie except those at 3pm Saturday being shown live by TNT - apart from BBC who get to show 2 of those non-3pm Saturday games.

In recent years about 2/3 of the rounds games have not been 3pm Saturday, but I do wonder what’s to stop none of the games being given 3pm Saturday slots to allow tv to just show them all (?)
