TV Matches:-

BBC - Arsenal v Scum
BBC - Chelsea v Sheff W
BBC - Millwall v Everton
BT - Accrington v Derby
BT - Barnet v Brentford
BT - Palace v Spurs
BT - Wimbledon v West Ham

Not too bad a choice, will not be watching the first one.

Yeah, not too much to argue about.

The biggest draw
the cupholders (not on TV in the last round)
PL away at Champ side
Accrington vs FLDCFC (could have been a PL side)
last non-league side (I think) on Monday night, local-ish, guarantees that Barnet are in the 5th round draw!
London derby - bigger side away
PL aidie away at lower league side who are a cup name

Tickets sales for the Burnley game are slow. They might pick up closer to the match day I’ve bought 6 (5 at a tenner each) but I think our fanbase has been worn down this month by games being rearranged for TV. Not everyone can make the games but football without match going fans is nothing.
The price of success is you end up playing more matches, just the luck of the draw if League and FA Cup matches get played at home. I never thought I would say it but you can just end up having too much football with the wall to wall TV games and your own teams match day games.

Put in SS2 for this rather than SS1 where I normally get moved to, means sitting rather than standing but out at a bash in the evening so probably need the rest beforehand.
Theyve started doing this to me too this season. Since SS3 opened theyve put me in level 1 but Rotherham and Burnley level 2

I think the volume of games is the biggest facto in variable attendances. We probably play an extra 15 games per season compared to a decade ago. We also seem to have runs of several cup games in a row being at home (in between long runs of away Cup ties).

Nail on head. We have become saturated with TV football, so much so that I long ago stopped watching anybody but City (for away games) on the telly. The novelty of televised footy wore off a long time ago. I can fully understand it if someone simply can't afford to go to all these matches and that's fair enough but for others it's just plain apathy about the Cups. I go to all our home games but some people who come on our SC coach for PL & CL games can't be bothered to show up for the FAC & LC. I know for a fact that for most of these money isn't an issue, especially with the level of prices City are setting. Little wonder we struggle to sell seats as I suspect this is a general trend throughout our fanbase. It's the price of success but personally I can't get enough of watching City at the Etihad, no matter what competition we are in.

In my experience some of those who can't be arsed supporting the team in cup ties are usually the first ones to moan when they struggle for tickets for a final.

The 6th round is the qtr final which is when we play the rags in March; the 5th round is on the weekend of 16th February when we currently don't have a game
Thanks for that, i wasnt sure but i can see that happening in march anyway if we play to our potential............ 5th round Weekend before schalke away and carabao final... not bad.

Family of 4 here. Only pairs in family stand left though. Decided to do two pairs in front of each other. In the whole tier, I'd day there were only handful of pairs. So many singles though. Do people sit there on their own? Whoever designed that new ticketing tool needs to lose their job. It's wank.

I have season card & am on all the Cup Schemes so haven't yet experienced the current online ticketing system. From what I've read on here though I'm not looking forward to buying my Wembley ticket. I can see it being a shambles.

In the South stand level 1, area 115 C385 and C385 for this one. Anyone know what the view is like from there.
Cheers in advance.
