FA Cup 4th round draw - Palace (a)

Allerdyce is one of those pathetic English managers who never plays strong teams in cups, despite never winning anything. He's more proud of his 'never been relegated' tag - I can see Bolton doing the business but if we do get Palace, I expect us to win

Yep, and even though I have absolutely nothing against palace I pray to god they go down so the fat fucker loses his 'tag'.

Not sure mate. The fat fuckers ego wouldn't be able to resist trying to turn over the best coach in the game.

He's shown quite a few times that he sees Cup games as an unwelcome hinderance and tries to get out of them ASAP by playing his weakest possible team. Did it at Sunderland and West Ham.

I'd be surprised if we end up playing them to be honest, if he can tank the game vs. Bolton he will do.

Being a Bolton lad, praying they get through. Had some great days watching city at reebok and earlier Burnden as a young lad...

Can't see it but here's hoping. Sam tends to field weakened teams in cup and they've West Ham and Everton either side of the replay

Just a side note concerning draw odds:
The German cup final takes place in Olympic Stadium of Berlin, home soil of Hertha BSC.
Between 1997 and 2015 they had 45 cup matches - and 4 of them have been at home... but never in a final.

That's a flawed point - considering all German first and half of the second tier sides are automatically drawn away from home in the first round. If you draw anyone below the third tier after that, you are automatically away.

Coming from an inbred town a lot of my mates are bolton fans. I'll never have wanted bolton to win a game as much as their replay against palace

Ickkle mikky Owen couldnt contain his glee when he drew us away.

Did he have a cheeky tenner on it?
Did notice that it seemed to be the greatest moment of his footballing life when he pulled Palace/Bolton ball out first, thought he was going to run around studio with it above his head. Hope for Bolton but expecting Palace not bad if its a Saturday mind.

How do you think they pulled off this deception then ?

Top teams excluding us , freezing cold balls

Us , red hot ball

Slightly shit premier league teams , Luke warm balls

All other teams normal temp balls ?

I'm of the opinion that football is corrupt at some level but you are either joking or very sad to believe that

Honestly mate I am so pissed off with the institutionaliased corruption right across our sport, I would not put anything past them. When you think we've had to tolerate the then current managing director of the scum - David gill - sitting on the board of the FA, never mind the huge conflict of interest. We've had FFP drawn up specifically to stop us, only for it to be watered down when they realised we'd got through and the old guard were being compromised. We have the constant refereeing anomalies of one set of rules for the scum and another set for us.

Is it possible that they had 2 hot balls in that bag, ours and Palace, and told Owen and Keown to leave the hot balls until last? I would not put it past them. The ONLY reason they might not do this would be if they thought the scam might be exposed. If they thought they could get away with it, they'd do it for sure. Maybe they do.
