FA Cup 4th round draw - Palace (a)

Disgraceful this arrangement.
Why leave it hanging like this? So basically the rags get their standing order arrangement if Palace win.

Just realised that I've missed more FA Cup ties in the last 12 months (all of them) than the previous 35 years (Oldham A 2005, West Ham H 2006, Blackburn A 2007)

Not sure if that says more about me, or the the FA Cup

Still not really getting why the BBC would plump for United v Wigan if palace win.
that's a nothing dull game at least ours would have the potential for a shock
Would suit to at least know what day were playing if not where

How come Palace have been able to refuse to play 4 pm Sunday because of a league game at Bournemouth on the following Tuesday, yet we were forced to play the kids at Chelsea last season?

Is it because they're the home team? Have the rules changed? Was last season purely agenda driven? Anybody know?

I wasn't aware a club could refuse, will be interesting to see the outcome.

The Palace chairman, Steve Parish, has told the Croydon Advertiser that they turned down "the chance" to have the game televised as they didn't want to play on Sunday.

The only outcome appears to be that the BBC will show United instead if Palace get through.

If you enter the FA Cup you have no choice but to play on tv as requested or you get kicked out, it is clearly in the rules. So it won't be as cut and dry as reported.

Pretty sure the rags refused to have a game changed for tv. (league not cup) it was a new years Eve game away at Bolton.
Have no idea how or why I would remember that but I definitely read it at the time.
