FA Cup 4th round draw - Palace (a)

Would everyone just prefer that we got knocked out of the in the 3rd round each year then there's less chance of us getting drawn away to a Prem team?

It's a pointless exercise looking retrospectively at a series of events and applying probabilities. Any club could do the same for any number of things and come up with something similar.

Or perhaps they couldn't.

It proves absolutely nothing unless the odds really are in the millions.

And even if in the millions, it still doesn't prove anything. But it gets more "interesting" to note, as the unlikeliness increases, doesn't it.

Or maybe they could choose someone who has no relationship with any of the clubs still in the competition to make the draw? Appreciate this could be difficult as some players move clubs a lot.

I personally think the draw is above board, it is just the fact we never get an interesting tie e.g. Accrington (A), that frustrates me.

We just seem fated in that respect, another cross we all have to bear.

By the way that horrible smirking scouser/scum sycophant really pissed me off.

Maybe it appears transparent but what if it wasn't broadcast live? What if the draw was predetermined and they did lots of different takes until the balls came out in the order they wanted? Aha!

After all, we know that the bbc lie because on the Sunday episode of Strictly Come Dancing, they pretend that the show is live by referring to 'yesterday's show' when we all know it was recorded straight after the live broadcast on Saturday.

They should seed it like the tennis tournament have one draw at the beginning which would solve the problem, it would also give a good chance to the lower league clubs to be rewarded with a money spinner rather than a non league side getting to the third round a getting Rochdale or Wycome away.

Or even use a lotto machine to select the balls. Someone mentioned yesterday, all the refs should be in the mix too and as a game is drawn, so is the ref.
