I live in Scotland and it is far better trying to get to a game Friday evening than a Saturday at 12.30.

To be fair a could imagine a flight from Scotland being more practical than a train from Piccadilly

The train service is a joke now.Transpennine are hopeless.If the early train is cancelled you are screwed.
The bus service is decent but no way can you reach the game in time for a 12.30 kick off.
