I guess so, I'm not bothered if its on TV or not, just want to know the kick off time.
I can't see Wycombe putting out a weakened team should they beat Villa. It would be one of the biggest games in their history.I think they'll be more concerned about getting PL points, given the TV revenue changes.
Wycombe will also be concentrating on promotion, in the unlikely event they get through, they're 8 points off the automatic places with a game in hand, and a replay with Villa gives them an extra game in a 46 game league season. They'll look at a game against us as a money spinner (so expect £50 tickets), but then put out a weaker side to save players for their games in hand, they know they have little chance of beating us, even on a shit pitch at Adams Park, we're not 1998 City these days, they had a good chance against a very low quality and confidence Villa, they won't be thinking that City is winnable.
So you think a great shot of promotion, is more important than a 5% chance of getting a result against City in the FA Cup ? Fair enough.I can't see Wycombe putting out a weakened team should they beat Villa. It would be one of the biggest games in their history.
If they do beat Villa, which is unlikely then I really don't think they would do that. These games for little clubs are one off opportunities that they dream of.So you think a great shot of promotion, is more important than a 5% chance of getting a result against City in the FA Cup ? Fair enough.
You miss the point, the club will love it obviously, it is one of their biggest ever games, but they have nearly zero chance of winning it, so they'll take the money (big ticket prices, and I don't blame them). They'll look to put up a decent effort on their own (usually fairly shit at this time of year) pitch (at least the rugby has left), but they as a club won't expect anything other than a defeat, and their promotion is far more important to them, so they'll save players for bigger fights. If they do beat Villa, which is unlikely then I really don't think they would do that. I should ban you for wumming! ;)Tracey Ulman is actually most famous for having a sketch show that the Simpsons started out on before they got their own 30 minute show. I have little idea who she is outside of that.
I bet you're scared of your own shadow.Assuming it's Villa, remember they got to Wembley when they were struggling last season. They might see the FA Cup as one way of salvaging their season and an escape from the misery of the Premier league. Their players have been bashed repeatedly and are a wounded animal.
I hope Wycombe beat them because I don't fancy going to Villa Pk in the current circumstances. Wycombe is a banana skin as well. At least if we go away from home, we should avoid the complacency factor which has done for us in the past.
It's been a pretty uneventful decade to be a City fan tbf.If City end up playing Villa it will be just short of 10 years since Micah got his last minute equalizer in the FA Cup at Villa Park.
