Still wonder if Pep could turn him in to a class fullback.

He can still be done for handball if it is deemed punishable in normal situations. Just like a foul can chalk off a goal in the build up. The handball for setting up a goal or scoring is if it touches the arms no matter what.

I still think it was the right decision. It hits his thigh first, then hand close to body. They've been consistent in that regard.

You’re probably right, as the laws stand. However, it does beg the question why rule out a goal if that same handball was a pass further on in the move?

The laws create a situation where the same action is both handball and not handball depending on if the next player to touch the ball scores. This is what I can Schrödinger's handball.
 
As Elliot was walking off then, the Brighton ’keeper patted him right in the spot he’d been holding in ‘agony’… Elliot didn’t even flinch… sod all up with him… get the fuck on with it you tart!

He just fancied a rest after a few lung bursting runs from midfield there.

And to stop any possible counter Brighton might put on from his missed opportunity.

Players do it all the time and it is one of the things that needs to be remedied.

Indeed. Too many lean back, you’re taught not to do that in the Under 9s. These lads are paid tens, if not hundreds, of thousands a week and still can’t get that right.

We’re lucky with Rodri he must have scored five first-time screamers for us.
 
Gakpo has never impressed me even playing for PSV not sure what anyone has seen in him apart from some decent finishes in the Dutch league.
