FA Cup 5th round draw - Huddersfield Town (Away)

The Sky Bet Championship game at home to Reading, which was initially scheduled for that weekend, will now be played at the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday 21 February; 7.45pm kick-off
So Huddersfield have already rearranged this game yet we still haven't announced a date for the derby. It can't be that difficult can it?

I think this game isn't subject to Sky approval, whereas our Derby will be when Sky agree it with the 2 clubs.

It could also be that Hudds and Reading were both happy to play on that date, whereas its inevitable that City and United will be unable to agree on a date. Our starting point will be to play it on the 29th the following week, United will have refused....

sorry mate....bluemoon sarcasm.

I know who you support..........what I was attempting to convey was that watching MCFC for many years we don't expect to win ANYWHERE and ,in fact, expect defeats at the likes of Huddersfield Town

On a side note when we were in the same league as you I remember a night game there when your lads were shouting outside after the game "come on town let's do these ****s"
I was pissing my sides as this little mob were surrounded by City all over the shop..

Fair enough :-)

I think every club has its bunch of nutters. Maybe we have proportionally more than many.

Had some great and memorable games between us in the past. I lived in Cheadle Hulme for 20 years so also used to go to Maine Road when Town weren't playing at home or within easy travelling distance. Can't be doing with the other lot! :-)

I'm sure it will be a good game but you will probably be too strong for us even with a weak(ish) team.

i`d really like to see arron mooy`s play

I was there mate :-) I remember when Town scored to make it 9-1 it got the biggest cheer of the afternoon! But to balance that, also seen a few away wins at yours too.. 2-3, and a couple of 0-1s spring to mind. We were 0-2 up in the 2-3 game and then City scored twice in first half injury time to go in level. Somehow we managed the winner in the 2nd half. Great days! Even the 10-1!

Tune in to Sky Sports 1 tonight at 7.45 mate. You'll get the chance then. Hudds v Brighton.

I had seen it and fancied watching it but thanks.

I was going to ask you about Mooys but looked back.

I`ll be going to the game my nephew as just bought a house in huddersfield so might go over before hand for an afternoon of trying the beer.

Is Bradleys restaurant still open do you know
