Maybe if city hadn't charged such ridiculous prices we wouldn't be talking about rags in our end.

Hopefully the club will look at the number of seasoncard holders like myself and about 10 friends and family who have decided not to go and realise £40 is a rip off regardless of the opposition

The game has sold out.... therefore they wont be looking anywhere as to why some fans think the price was too high. Job done as far as the club is concerned.

They might think again when they see all the empty seats on Wednesday.
Lots of empty seats when you played in League Cup too

I've been told on this forum you can leave cup schemes at the expense of the loyalty point bonus when signing up. So why didn't people join the cup scheme, get the 15 quid ticket, go to the game, then drop out of the cup scheme?

Very good point.

Because they closed cup scheme applications before ticket details were announced. They're not stupid.

The cup scheme was open for 2-3 days after the draw with the £15 guarantee on prices. I know because I joined the cup scheme after the draw.

Your name is most suitable, your logic indeed being extremely fuzzy. It's the cup, the prices aren't set by City, they're mutually agreed... Because of the cup scheme in all possibility (depending on just how many are in the cup scheme), City could lose money on this one because 50% has to go into the rags' and FA's coffers and that will be fifty percent of £40/5, not £15.

I don't see your point? You point, if you have one wouldn't have stopped people joining it anyway. The whole world knew they would be no where near £15,

-- Sat Jan 07, 2012 2:56 pm --

Or they won't give a fuck as they sold your seat.

Just blame the old bill for the pricing...you normally blame then for everything else! :-)

The prices are the same or slightly less than a league fixture between the two sides.
