FA cup against United

Proud of the fans for staying till the very end.

Proud of the fightback with ten men

Mancini's bold tactics in the second half were fantastic and he totally thought out of the box with that (playing with 3 centre halves and 2 wingbacks and took silva off)

Happy knowing the united fans saw us blues leave the stadium at full time with our pride in tact on that wet afternoon. We pissed on their party a little.

And They thought it would be 6!

excluding the final game of season. Most exciting of the season and showed great spirit and how good the future looks

Another five minutes - different result I'm convinced - the fans were all singing coming down the spirals - Never witnessed this before after a defeat !

Does anyone else remember feeling fantastic after the FA cup game against United?

Not the semi final but the game last season at our place in which we lost. Kompany gets sent off in the first half fir a two footed challenge (debatable) and going in at half time losing 3-0. We finished the game 2-3 but it felt in some ways like we'd won.

Never thought id feel that way about losing to them lot. I think it was the spirited come back in which we were striving for and to have 10 men going at it against 11 of theirs and have then shitting it. This fire and desire and possibly that game helped in our last game against QPR.
I felt far from fantastic. I was really disappointed. Then even more disappointed with just 30odd thousand turning up for a more important game in the midweek after.

I can still see how Vincent was sent off (it wasn't this terrible decision that many made it out to be, albeit a little bit harsh). I thought it took Roberto too long to change things when we were a defender short (35minutes). I thought a lot of people took small positives from that day and made them out to be bigger than they were.

We lost, we went out of the cup.

Yeah I thought we played great that day because we went down to 10 men early which i'm still not sure if Kompany deserved to get sent off, we also had a weakened line-up out, and we came back from 3-0 down to 3-2.

any idiot who come away from this game not feeling proud needs an emotional reality check, yes the first half was shite but the peformance and fight our boys showed in that second half was fantastic.

After any defeat to the Rags I have always been able to console myself with the simple fact that we are not them.

Horrible Horrible experience in the first half. My young un (6 years old) was in tears when Vinny got sent off and quite dejected at half-time. I told him about the time when City came back against Spurs to win 4-3, although not sure he bought that and then when Aguero got the second he was shouting and singing for them to get a third. What a roller coaster of emotions - lost but still proud!
