FA Cup - Blackburn post match thread

Great win, Vinny not even on bench, that is how you give confidence to squad players in the defensive position.

Dzeko to wasteful in first half, he must be more clinical against harder opposition.
Great second half and good goals, held the ball up well in both halfs.

Micah, dunno, love him but twinge after twinge keeps him in the "perma crock" catagory as it stands.
Did ok on his return though.

Always stuck up for Kolarov as i could see a player in him and Manuel has brought said player out, fantastic.

Milner, solid in the middle as expected, Nastasic needs to have a line or ten to sharpen up, still a good player just not his best display.

The beast is immense, my kinda player.

Kun = brilliant, a goal on your return is always nice.

All in all a damn good win against a tenacious Blackburn, CTID.

Navas was MoM for me . He destroyed their shape especially in the second half.. Negredo and Dzeko stunning strikes..

We look dodgy at the back without our main players but hey we'll just go and score 4.

So that's 14 assists from Jesus for the season, not bad for a guy who can't beat his man, he's on course to get 30 plus!!!!!

It appears that Jesus really does help those who help themselves.

He only used to feed 5,000...times have changed :)

Blackburn tired but gave a fair account of themselves. We just had too much in our locker for them, and keeping a clean sheet was especially pleasing.

In all honesty I`ve seen worse PL teams at City this season.

Blackburn were really well organised, again, with lots of men behind the ball in the first half and we had the world's most frustrating player having five shots and not even hitting the target once, when at least three of the chances were very presentable. We had a few sloppy moments and weren't moving the ball qickly enough but we were trying to play the patterns of play that we do with our full team, without the creativity of the missing midfielders. The first goal was always going to be important, the second ended the contest, such as it was.

Excellent job overall.

99 goals scored and were only in the middle of January............bloody brilliant. Read it and weep Keane you bitter, bitter sad rag twat.
