Fa Cup Cancelled........??

I feel sorry for Sir Alex.

All he ever wanted was to quitely slip away at the end of the season, with no fuss. But now because he accidentally told the press he has to suffer two weeks of everyone telling him how he's the greatest human being who has ever walked the planet

Just like the naming of the stand after him, that he never wanted or knew anything about, it's all a bit embarrasing really for such a humble man.

Haha.

Are you lot going down the 'Fergie did this to ruin our cup final' road?

Nearly as ridiculous as the comedy 'Mancini made him do it' stuff from yesterday.

To (mis) quote the old twat himself, 'football fans, bloody hell'.

His timing is poor but just so happens to be before the last game of the season at a club he's been at over two decades.

Why not see the glass half full and think - well if we win it then it puts a dampener on things for that lot?

If we don't win the FA cup, we will never hear the end of it. The rags will be foaming at the mouth of the opportunity to get the charity shield as their 'first trophy'

No arrogance meant.

But if we can't beat a team facing relegation with a first eleven containing players who simply wouldn't get into our team, then we deserve all the criticism.

Out of all the things considered in the timing of his decision, you can cast iron guarantee that city's appearance in the final was not one of them. He's guaranteed his solid gold legacy by winning the league back off us. Job done.

That actually made me laugh out loud and nearly spit my banana all over my screen!!

You think that's bad.

I got up especially early to pick up my free copy of The Evening News, only to discover the 32 page pull out, tribute to Sir Alex is only included in the paid for editions.

I'm having to do with a shitty eight pages here.

Disrespectful bastards.

As an aside, if it's 32 pages when he retires, they're gonna need half the fucking trees in Brazil when the pissed up **** pops his clogs.

TS have broadcasting rights along with ITV and ESPN. TS are broadcasting all their shows from 8am from Wembley. Last time we were there ESPN did the same, though i've not checked the TV schedule for Saturday yet, as it's only Thursday. I'm sure it will get the coverage it usually gets, no reason for it not too - on the day.

ESPN live from 8am, continuously all day until 8pm (or further if the game goes into ET or pens)

Excellent. That's my day sorted. She's out from half 8 all day, so it's just me and the telly before I toddle off to the pub at 4.
Remember when it used to like this on BBC and ITV back in the days before Sky. The team buses going down to the stadium etc.

Yes, the FA Cup Final has been postponed in memory of Fergie. There will be another FA Cup Final at the end of the season, but owing to Fergie's demise, it will be a special invitational event only between Manchester United and Manchester United reserves. The FA Community Shield will also be contested between these two teams.

Now that Fergie has retired, next season, Every game United win, they get 3 points, every other club will only get 2 points for a win. United will also get 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.

Despite this, David Moyes will only manage 5th place and bomb out of the Champions League at the group stage. This won't stop him getting knighted in the new years honours list though.

I know we're gonna get on - very funny!

Just counted 30 articles on Daily Mail football main page. Few of them might be duplicates but still at least 20-25.

It's huge news, I agree, but I wonder if he has some dogs we haven't heard about, it's about the time they cover it. Horses are tabu when it comes to him though.

And why do think he announced his retirement 4 days before the final ???.
To take the shine off our big day of course ,could of be announced anytime in the next two weeks, he who laughs last and all that crap ,Moyes has known for months ,why do you think he knocked back a contract at Everton last year ???
blowjob

Edited for accuracy :-)

just been on the BBC Sport Website homepage - not a single metion of the FA Cup Final which is only 24 hours away!!!

it's all Moyes this and Ferguson that - even sailing and cycling get a mention!!

there's even a feature about Lewis Hamilton's dog ffs

Had SSN on since 5pm and they've begun showing the Moyes press conference for the 2nd time now, without any stories about the cup final.
