Fa Cup Cancelled........??

So..I wake up this morning,stick the tv on and there is not one thing about the cup final.
Nothing,not a tap. Now there is Tennis,Formula 1,Racing amongst other things but not one thing. The Murdoch empire then switch to Old Trafford where rag girl Mcqueen states about a massive weekend of football..I thought here we go.."A massive game at old trafford".

Fucking hell now call me paranoid but I used to think the cup final was a massive event,a huge build up with player interviews and all sorts of stuff. Yet nothing.

I am not in the agenda camp but those rag bastards are so scared of us now they are still trying to steal our limelight for our day.

If I see another fucking rag rolled out on Sky then I am seriously considering blowing it out. Mike Wedderburn - I am sure he is talking through gritted teeth.

Yes, the FA Cup Final has been postponed in memory of Fergie. There will be another FA Cup Final at the end of the season, but owing to Fergie's demise, it will be a special invitational event only between Manchester United and Manchester United reserves. The FA Community Shield will also be contested between these two teams.

Now that Fergie has retired, next season, Every game United win, they get 3 points, every other club will only get 2 points for a win. United will also get 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.

Despite this, David Moyes will only manage 5th place and bomb out of the Champions League at the group stage. This won't stop him getting knighted in the new years honours list though.

And if they don't turn up because the entire world is too 'distraught' the PL will award them four points!
 
I didn't care when the rags won the league & we won the cup in 2011 & i won't care about Fergies retirement & them lifting the trophy if we do it again in 2013.

A little friend of mine text me telling me it was there plan to announce it Saturday morning but stock market rules didn't allow it.
An odious club,A horrible (but successful manager) and a club I am so happy not one person in my family can say they support.
It's fucking everywhere.Can you send it first class recorded please because I am seriously thinking of joining the agenda brigade

Nothing to do with Sky as they aren't showing the game. They have mentioned it within the weekend fixtures but they are bound to sell their own product and anything connected with it (Prem League etc) so why should they big up the Cup?

It was very clever of Manyoo to announce this when they did. Every time City do something, they manage to usurp it somehow.

Don't worry, it won't last for ever.

I'm not interested in what the papers say or don't say about City, nor the TV. I am happy enough to read/see what's on the OS.

I will tune in to ITV at 3.15 on Saturday to watch the build up and the match, that will do me.

I got up especially early to pick up my free copy of The Evening News, only to discover the 32 page pull out, tribute to Sir Alex is only included in the paid for editions.

I'm having to do with a shitty eight pages here.

Nope ....it was the same on BBC. Now over to Old Trafford for an update ....few minutes about Slurgie, Gollum and Granny shagger. Not a thing about the final

She started off well though saying that it doesn't matter what time you arrive at the swamp you will always see a tourist...
 
Yes the final has been cancelled and we're going to have to watch a 90 minute tribute to the great man on the big screens, while the City & Wigan players recreate key moments from his greatest games for which they're rehearsing as we speak. All compered by Dave "I've played at Wembley you know" Whelan.
 
I wonder when the queen passes(God bless her) there will be this much coverage.

Anyway..I'm off to get ready for work and have a break from all this media eulogising.

I'm more than happy. Under normal circumstances 2 days before a big game the papers would be coming out with stories like "Kompany in come and get me plea to Chelsea", "Aguero stuns City with transfer request" or even "Warnock to replace Mancini" This all keeps them off our backs until "Sir Alex's tearful bus ride"
 
And why do think he announced his retirement 4 days before the final ???.
To take the shine off our big day of course ,could of be announced anytime in the next two weeks, he who laughs last and all that crap ,Moyes has known for months ,why do you think he knocked back a contract at Everton last year ???
