FA Cup Final - 18/05 1700hrs

What’s the difference, they didn’t for the semi finals either as far as I’m aware. They don’t check anyway, scan barcode, put in pocket and walk through.

The FA cup and league cup tickets have always been different from each other, it is not wembley but the competition owner who gets them done, and they use different systems for concs.

They did write on for the semis for some at least, and it would come off if someone was paranoid, but I know they don't check, and there is no lighting system or anyway ways of knowing from a back end database flagging them. Contrary to what Stretford Blue said, there is no system like city and it would be impossible as they are all printed off well before they are sold and the category is not known then.

I know senior members on the security teams at Wembley, if you think you can gib in for nowt, or enter as an adult on concessions tickets, then give it some consideration, they're looking out for you and have plenty of staff doing so. Warning systems are in place similar to City to indicate type of ticket on entry, oh, and they're inside and outside the turnstiles....!

Absolutely not true. Quite simply, the easiest football ground to enter without a ticket. No checks outside and inside, the only checks done are on bags.

Never had my ticket physically checked for any of my visits to the new Wembley - wished I'd bought concessions lol

Good Luck to anybody buying in tomorrow morning's scramble. Hopefully City will have added more tickets for you. If they haven't, I would advise logging on a few minutes before 9am as at peak times they have a queue management system which delays your log in.

Also consider something that has happened to others:

People bought thinking the sales process was right at the end and they were buying the last tickets, and then hours or days later better / cheaper seats came online.

Need to balance that info with the possibility that this time we really could be the end of the sales process. There's also a possibility that City may have some obstructed view seats to sell. It happened before. Again this is only a possibility.

The insurance policy, if you have the money, is that there are still hundreds of Club Wembley in Level 2 available, and so far they are selling very slowly. Even if all else goes, I think they will still sell slowly at £250. Just some things to think about!

Another thing to add to Marvin's suggestions above is that you are able to add a ticket and have at least 20 minutes in which to check out. In the meantime you can see if any other tickets become available that you'd prefer, if not you can then either check out or if feeling brave can cancel the ticket and if you have another browser open with the same block showing you can keep refreshing immediately on cancelling and it will re-appear (you have the advantage as you know exactly which seat it is) which you can then add to your basket again buying yourself another 20 minutes!

Haha...Russian roulette for tickets.

This seems true. As far as I know Wembley print the tickets and send them to the clubs. The clubs allocate the seats and tickets so they don’t know which seats will be sold as concessions. Wembley losing revenue here but it’s a rip off anyway so fuck them.

Hopefully my one will have arrived over here by the 16th.

You have to ask, that with no other tickets to either sell or dispatch, why the club are waiting another 7 days to start sending tickets out? It needlessly adds to buyers stress levels and causes potential problems for those outside the UK who could have travel plans hindered. Whatever happened to not putting off until tomorrow what can be done today?

Correct. They should have been able to start sending the first ones out last week. Would have left less to get out in the next couple of weeks.
