FA Cup Final - 18/05 1700hrs

Cheers Johnny

This is what the OS says:
"We appreciate that there may be a significant difference in ticket points between junior supporters (under 18) and their parent(s) or guardian(s). A limited allocation of tickets will be made available to 2018/19 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard holders registered on the FA Cup Scheme aged under 18, for purchase together with a qualifying adult Seasoncard holder. At the point where the adult qualifies, they can also purchase ONE junior ticket regardless of the junior’s ticket point status."

My son and I are season ticket holders, but, not on the Cup scheme this season, mainly due to the fact that he was awaiting surgery and we simply didn't know when he would be missing 10 to 12 weeks of the season.

My predicament now is that I have 7500 points but he only has 1955.

I understand that I can apply for both tickets when my "window" becomes available, however, was unsure if this will necessitate a phone call (and a probable large call queue) or whether i can apply for both online? If so, how does that work on the portal given that we are limited to one ticket per ST?

Cheers.

I have a similar situation

Me, Missus and kids on cup scheme and I can get mine tomorrow but have to wait until Thursday for theirs as lower points.

I can get one ticket with mine but their are 4 of us.

I am eligible tomorrow and will have a look for you.

I think you are supposed to set up a friend s and family group which lets you link your accounts and enable you to buy in one transaction and sit together.

I imagine that you will only be able to buy together though when the other person becomes eligible. In the FA Cup Information on the web-site there is a link to set up friends and family. It asks if they already have a City membership number and looks like you will need that and their email address.

Hope someone replies to you who has done this before. Sounds like a very common enquiry.
All the above is correct except waiting 'til the junior is eligible. There are a limited number of junior tickets available when bought with a senior who has more points. But, these are limited in number and may not be available after today.

You can set them up all together, but can only do it once the lowest points are able to buy.

So you want a system to suit you and feck the rest.
Like I said no issue with it for away games but then we all know that the tickets go to touts and the number of supporters clubs. For eg there was someone who had been to their first City match ever at an away game interviewed the other day at Palace. How is this fair ??
I just think that it is not a fair system. I am asking for a system that is fait to all and at no point have I said to quote you "feck the rest" If you want to have a debate on this then be factual rather than coming out with stuff you have made up. Quite simply if a person is in a cup scheme then they can all buy tickets at the same time. Is it fair that because some one buys and away ticket for the league it has anything to do with the cup? Is it fair that someone who buys tickets with no intention of going to a match but sells them on for a profit accumulates points for a ticket they won't use?
They only people who do think that this is a fair system are the ones first in line, no to coin your phrase "feck the rest"

This is where the current system is a joke. If you invest for the cup scheme for you and yours you should be able to get all your tickets at the same time. Hence my complaint which has been derided by the "I've got 13000 points brigade."

No issue with that but I am in all the cup schemes, so yet again because of the staggering i will end up probably not in the seats I want or paying a premium. Should be all FA, league cup can buy at the same time, then others. I can understand it for away games but the current system is not inclusive.

I'm in them all too but so are thousands of others, they have to apply some form of criteria. We could have 35k in the FA cup scheme we can't just make it a free for all.

You would have more of a point if the prices of the actual tickets were the same and we had a ticketing system that could cope with the mass applications if they simply went on sale to all in the cup scheme at the same time.

With the ticket prices being a disgrace those with the points should have first dabs on the cheaper tickets imo.

Loyalty points are exactly what they are - loyalty points, those with the points are first in the queue. I have not heard of any new system that could replace this where everyone is happy. It is impossible, so we are where we are.
