Last season's FA Cup Final kicked off at 5.15pm on a Saturday.

A London club and a "Manchester" club. A 3pm KO would be ideal but suspect it might be later.

TV will be after maximum viewing figures which I suspect are in the evening. As long as there are plenty of trains again after I don't mind. Not doing the coach again.

Slightly off topic but anyone know why you can’t book Wembley official parking yet? Got new Premier Inn booked next to Red car park but final not showing up on their events booking page (although the FA Vase next day is).

I don’t understand why the club aren’t lobbying for an earlier start and going back to the traditional 3.00pm start. Maybe if the decision makers actually had to organise transport, buy their tickets, their drinks and food and sort out accommodation then maybe they might realise what it’s like to be a fan. Can’t book cheap trains yet, will there be trains back, do we need hotel etc etc.

I have been truly scarred by the pie eaters. When Wolves went two up the commentator mentioned the last time they won the cup they beat Blackburn in 1960......AAAAAGH! The Matthews final, The White Horse final, Bert’s final all pale into insignificance compared to that game you know. The nation went into mourning because the champion of the zero hours contract broke his leg in that very Cup final. No, it’s true. He doesn’t like to mention it though. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it! Didn’t realise what Deeney had done, just knew he’d served time. Can’t see this getting dragged up by the media in the run up to the final. It’s not like he’s been in Greggs or bought his Mum a house or some such other heinous act now is it?
