FA Cup Final - 18/05 1700hrs

The whole country knows it should be a 15:00 kick off time but they are more bothered about their TV rights and the best spot to get the most money than they are the fans that attend.

That being said, 17:00 is the next best slot after 15:00. At least it’s not 12:30 or 19:45, or a Sunday (like the last game of the Prem season always fucking is - and shouldn’t be!)
 
Ticket prices for this year’s Final have been frozen at £45, £70, £115 and £145 and will be available through both Manchester City and Watford.

Each club has been allocated 28,000 tickets, the same number as in the 2017 and 2018 Finals. This represents approximately 80 per cent of the available seating at Wembley.

And wonder why the Cup has lost it's magic. The BBC build up, from lunchtime , was often just as good if not better than the final. It helped make it a unique experience.

With 200 PL games a season, champions league, championship, Spanish, German and Italian football and smart phones and the like, the huge build up of yesteryear just wouldn’t work anymore.
The FA Cup losing its magic is directly related to finishing 4th being more important than a trophy, getting relegated is viewed so badly and football on tv isn’t a novelty anymore.
