Cheers. Fuck that.
Opted out of the cup scheme this year and I guess that’s my punishment, ah well.
Pub it is.

Your last sentence is the crux of the matter. So make attending the semi final part of the criteria for getting a final ticket. Another poster said United did this. I got my ticket and family and friends tickets on the first day of sale, so have no personal bias on this. The system should be fair and transparent.
On Thursday night at around 9pm I bought 2 at £45 each for my mate on my family and friends account, there were plenty available. By Friday afternoon another mate who wasn’t going changed his mind and had to pay £115, not sure how you missed the £45 tickets there. We qualified on Thursday at 10 am, got £115 tickets.
Very strange the £45 ones all got sold on Wednesday. Few odd £70 left then.
The OSC I quoted earlier got £115. I don’t think corporate, players etc would want the cheaper seats.
So I wonder if any ST holders managed to get one
Yep, luckily got the £160 ones for Istanbul but my mate who didn’t have enough points paid £450 for his, he was sat in the next block to me on the first row whilst I had a much better view about 20 rows back.People moaning at the prices ( nobody is happy but you just have to pay it ) for the fa cup final, could you imagine this thread if we made the chumps league final
Yes I just missed out I had to pay £450Yep, luckily got the £160 ones for Istanbul but my mate who didn’t have enough points paid £450 for his, he was sat in the next block to me on the first row whilst I had a much better view about 20 rows back.
It's nothing to do with pricing (unfortunatley) there's not been a drop since Friday at 4pm and the majority of people in that band were able to get the £115 tickets. Once it drops again tomorrow I'd expect the majority of what's left will sell.Cost? Think ours is only a fiver or tenner a year and you got a free pen. Haha.
You'd like to think they'd review the pricing when there's clearly resistance when it reaches a certain level and sales start stagnating. I'm sure if there's only 600 seats or so left they'd already have gone if they weren't the daftly priced ones. Unfortunately there's far too many others that will pick up the slack later on and jump at the chance of being there.
If City enforced this I could see a load of fans buying a semi final ticket to guarantee a final ticket and then not bother going. So make attending the semi final part of the criteria for getting a final ticket. Could be a few empty seats if we did that, cos nearly everyone near me at the semi were Americans or other non-City tourists on holiday, and I doubt they’ll fly the Atlantic twice even for a derby! So make attending the semi final part of the criteria for getting a final ticket. I have a childish fantasy whereby I buy a half n half scarf at Anfield and fold it in half then stand on the Kop and hold it up with the City part facing forward during the walk on karaoke. On the subject of half and half scarve wearing fans I can't get my head round why they display their scarves with our opponents on on show with the city half tucked away.
